Weekend and Classes Starting

Not much knitting lately. Friday some friends and I attempted to paint the nursery for our dear friend, Karen. We got everything out of the room, the walls patched and primed, and that's about it. We left her house in chaos and I hope she forgives us. You know what they say about good intentions.

Saturday we stayed at home and I did knit another Noro Sea Urchin hat. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sea-urchin-2#
I'll try to get pics up tomorrow.

I've taken a break from the stash wrangle and saw many people I care about over the weekend. I'll resume the stash diving by Wednesday, I'm sure.

I have started Yet another Noro Striped Scarf, the second. It's blue. Pics, I promise.

In the meantime, I knit about a row on an old cat bed, a couple of rows on a bag I'd forgotten about, and no overwhelming progress on the other 18 projects on the needles.

My tax classes start tomorrow, so another thing to come between me and my knitting time! This darn job getting in the way of my leisure. I should pull up some pdfs on Html so I can have something to look at in class if I need distraction. I need to brush up so I can get this blog on the spiffy train.

Along with my Noro obsession, I've acquired a chocolate covered strawberry one, too. I made a second batch tonight. Too easy and so tasty. Bad combo!

Stash Wrangle Continues

Today, I spent another hour or so working on the stash. I'd say I have about 1/3 of it on Ravelry, now. I have a ridiculous amount of eyelash and fun fur and other yarns for cat beds that I really wouldn't use for anything else. Since the cat bed business is really slow at the moment, I'm wondering if I should post some of it to ebay.

I finished Yet Another Noro Striped Scarf today. I am not sure what I am going to do with all of these, but I've ordered more Noro Silk Garden anyway! I am an addict. I must work on something else before I cast on for another.

On the non-knitting front, I made another attempt to fix the leaky middle bathroom shower. Easy installation, they say. Sure, but keeping water inside the thing is another story.

I'm making my healthy version of meatloaf for dinner so I am off to chop veggies and cook some lentils before I go to the gym. The excitement never ends!
